UNBPROBE BASE
The UNBProbeBase is a magnetic suspension platform to connect up to 12 UNBProbes, providing a stable mechanical platform during research sessions.
Features
- A set of ten Neodymium magnets clamp the base to any ferromagnetic surface, reducing translational and vibrational motion of the attached probes.
- Each base supplies twelve SMA connectors and twelve standard headers, allowing simultaneous connection of multiple probes or peripherals.
- A proyotyping area accommodates salvaged 0603-size surface-mount components for rapid circuit experimentation.
- A flexible SMA-to-SMA hand-formable cable integrate spring-loaded UNBProbes with the magnetic base, creating a robust mechanical interface to the device under test.
- The base is fabricated using 3D-printed PLA, offering DIY, lightweight construction while retaining sufficient structural rigidity for laboratory use.
